On February 2, at the lithium-ion battery intelligent production workshop of Changsha Findreams Battery Co., Ltd. in Ningxiang High-tech Zone, all 4 production lines were running, with a blade battery rolling off the line in 6 seconds.

Blade batteries are a super lithium iron phosphate battery developed and launched by BYD, which is the main product of Changsha Findreams Battery. According to an executive of the company, compared with the traditional battery pack, the blade battery has the safety that other power batteries cannot achieve, and has the advantages of high capacity density, high discharge rate, long life and long endurance. The battery volume utilization rate is increased by 50%, and the endurance mileage reaches the same level as high-energy ternary lithium batteries, and it takes 20 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%.

Findreams adopts BYD's world-first sixth-generation power battery production line to realize automated and information-based production through intelligent robots and information systems. At present, battery batching, coating, rolling, welding, liquid injection, testing and other processes have achieved high automation and high precision.

The Findreams plant will be put into operation at the end of 2020, with a planned daily output of 70,000 batteries and an annual output of 10 GWh lithium-ion batteries and supporting materials. In 2021, the company will achieve an output value of 3.4 billion yuan, with a daily output of 50,000 pieces.

At present, the first phase of the production line in the factory has basically achieved full production, and the construction of the second phase project has been accelerated. The person in charge of the enterprise introduced that it will build the world's leading power battery production lines and factories, further extend products to 3C, power, energy storage, echelon utilization and other fields, and drive the technological innovation and upgrading of the battery industry.
