In 2022, Weishan Township, Ningxiang City, achieved the total tea output of 428.5 tons, with a total output value of 65 million yuan. The total output industry chain reached the value of 290 million yuan, and the net income of farmers increased by 5.8 million yuan year-on-year. The number of summer resorts increased to 220, receiving 268,000 overnight tourists during the summer vacation, and the number of overnight visitors during the peak period exceeded 6,000, generating more than 50 million yuan for the masses.

In 2023, Weishan Town will promote high-quality development of Weishan and plan a new blueprint for rural revitalization. It will aim to strengthen cultural tourism, and improve people’s well-being. It will also explore the cultural connotations and innovate the path of cultural tourism integration, so that visitors can eat, live and travel well in Weishan.

With deep integration of resources, it will revitalize the national agricultural industry town, develop the whole industry chain integrating production, processing, sales, sightseeing and experience with government guidance and market leadership, which can promote the standardization of tea bases and Maojian brand marketing.
