On January 8, the Social Charity Volunteer Service Detachment of the Ningxiang Civil Affairs Bureau and the Sunflower Love Association of Ningxiang City jointly carried out an activity to help left-behind children realize their little wishes.
During the activity, volunteers visited 45 families in Xiangzikou Township, Pushan Township, Shatian Township, Huangcai Township and other places in Ningxiang City, giving stationery, books, clothes, shoes and money to the left-behind children.

At Li Hua's (pseudonym) home in Jinfengyuan Village, Xiangzikou Township, volunteers delivered a new bicycle to her, encouraging her to study hard, be grateful to society, and become a  person that can make contributions to society when she grows up.

Li Hua's mother is disabled and her family conditions are difficult. She always wanted to have a bicycle like her classmates and ride it between home and school. When Li Hua received the bicycle, she said excitedly, “I will study hard, participate in more volunteer service activities, and pass on warmth to more people."

In the early stage of the activity, the volunteers went to villages and households to do a lot of research work, and determined the list of helpers one by one to ensure that the children could receive what they really want.
