Big changes in alleys
As the “capillaries” of the city, hundreds of alleys and lanes connect the daily lives of ordinary people. Chengjiao Subdistrict of Ningxiang City has carried out the comprehensive improvement of the environment for alleys and lanes, and completed the comprehensive improvement of Donghua Alley and Hengda Alley as scheduled.
Donghua Alley is located on the west side of the original chemical plant in the southeast corner of Dongpu Square, with a key construction area of 180m long.

Hengda Alley is located in the northwest corner of Dongpu Square, with a 320m-long construction area. In the past, it had problems such as "disrepair, cracked pavement, and random parking". The general public had a strong desire to rectify the lane and improve the environment. Now, Hengda Alley has taken on a new look.

In the process of promoting the comprehensive improvement of the environment, Chengjiao Subdistrict also rectified such uncivilized phenomena as littering, parking and weeds in Donghua Alley and Hengda Alley, in an effort to create a chemical culture-themed alley and a harmonious neighborhood-themed alley.
