Recently, 255 villages were recommended as China’s beautiful leisure villages in 2022. Yongsheng Village in Dachengqiao Town, Ningxiang is listed among them. Yongsheng Village was originally a traditional resource-based and agricultural village with coal production as its main industry. After the closure of coal mines, Yongsheng Village sought to develop the rural tourism centering on food, housing, transportation, tourism, shopping and entertainment, and gradually realized the transformation from the coal-based economy” to “green ecological economy”. On November 14, the list of the fourth batch of key villages of rural tourism and the second batch of key towns of rural tourism in Hunan Province was released, and Queshan Village was on the list!
Queshan Village is located in the middle of Ningxiang City, 70 kilometers from Changsha urban area and 20 kilometers from Ningxiang urban area. The village area is 6.31 square kilometers, with 1,245 households and 4,321 people. The Queshan cooperative land management model was rated as one of the Top ten reform cases in China. Queshan Village reconstructed the land management rights relationship on the premise of the separation of land ownership rights, contract rights and management rights. The land cooperative has a total of 1,226 households, and realizes the full coverage of the whole village’s land cooperative management.  It has successively introduced 25 projects such as “Tanchixia” and “Shangguo Fruit Base”, developed more than 2,500 mu (166.67 hectares) of characteristic industries, and achieved industrial development in contiguous areas. It established a new agricultural management system, turning farmers to shareholders, and assets to capital. 
In 2021, the collective economic income at village level reached 1.14 million yuan, and the per capita net income of villagers increased from 19,000 yuan in 2014 to 29,000 yuan in 2021.
Queshan Village has been rated as a beautiful village in Hunan Province, an advanced primary-level Party organization in Hunan Province, a national model village for rural revitalization.
