Liushahe Town in Ningxiang City won the first prize in Hunan Province for its rural revitalization planning, according to the results released by Hunan Territorial Space Planning Society.
  With the cooperation model of “village cooperative+three local enterprises”, Liushahe Town has completed the project of “Ningxiang Pig Town” consisting of Ningxiang Pig Town Farm, Ningxiang Pig Theme Culture Exhibition Hall, Ningxiang Pig Cultural Square, special agricultural product supply station and homestay inns. The project was officially put into operation in October this year, and is expected to receive 500,000 tourists from across the country.
Meanwhile, 21 beautiful and livable villages have been built in the town. 11 villages (communities) were awarded provincial rural revitalization demonstration villages.
