Waves of visitors have been to Tanhe Ancient City Scenic Area in Ningxiang city since its reopening on August 27.

At the scenic area, visitors were required to measure temperature and present their health code&travel code while keeping certain distance with others. “Knowing that the attraction reopened two weeks ago, we come today as the weather is fine. It still feels different even though we have visited it many times.” Mr. Zhu, a local tourist in Ningxiang, said that he was relieved to find the epidemic prevention measures in place in the scenic area.

The number of tourists has increased day by day since the preferential policy was issued that local citizens with valid ID card can freely visit the ancient city at the expense of 88 yuan from its opening day of August 27 to September 26, according to the manager of the scenic area.

"We came from Hengyang city. We have learned that it’s a nice tourist attraction worth visiting, so my family come together. Generally speaking, we are satisfied with both the scenery and the impressive performances," said Mr. Deng, a tourist from Hengyang, Hunan.

While appreciating the beauty of Tanhe ancient city, visitors are also provided with newly produced parent-child show WA! Dinosaurs! and live-action show The Great Earthquake. The former enables tourists to travel through time under the guidance of a doctor to embark on an exciting Jurassic adventure journey, while the latter real scene of Wenchuan earthquake exposes them to the boundless love as Chinese nation united as one for earthquake relief.
