As a key livelihood project funded by the government, the new Ningxiang Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital is under construction.
Up to now, 95% of the curtain wall decoration has been completed. "In April last year, the construction of the main building was initially completed, and the decoration design is now in progress," said the person in charge of the technical department of the project.

The new site of Ningxiang Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital is located in the west of National Highway 319, north of South Second Ring Road, east of North Ankang Road, opposite to Yutan Experimental Primary School and next to Zhongjian Liangyuehu Community. The project is invested and constructed by Ningxiang Urban Development Group.
After its completion, the hospital will include maternal health department, women's health department, children's health department and family planning service department, which will greatly enhance the capacity of maternal and child health services in Ningxiang City.

It is one of the major projects in Ningxiang City, with a total investment of 800 million yuan (123.6 million US dollars) and covering a total construction area of 123,000 square meters. The construction was started in April 2019. The hospital includes a 15-story inpatient building with 700 beds, a comprehensive building, an outpatient building, a postpartum care center, a training building and 925 parking spots.
