Thousand Buddhas Cave in Ningxiang City, a carst cave formed 360 million years ago, is a national AAA scenic spot and the core scenic spot of Weishan Mountain National Scenic Area. It is located in Cuiping Township, Huangcai Town, Ningxiang City. It connects Changsha in the east, Lianyuan in the west, Taojiang and Anhua in the north, boasting very convenient transportation with highways and a special tourist highway leading to it.  
Cuiping Township is located in the western mountain area of Ningxiang, 62 kilometers away from the downtown of Ningxiang. Here are lush hills, green water and unique peaks. Stone Dragon Cave, Gorge Stream, Monkey Mountain and Young Reservoir make up the gorgeous and spectacular scenery of Cuiping. Stone Dragon Cave is situated at the foot of Stone Dragon Mountain.
