6,000 flights to be increased during Spring Festival travel rush

China Southern Airlines plans to increase about 6,000 flights in Hunan Province to meet the travel needs of passengers during the 2023 Spring Festival travel rush, with the largest number of flights reaching 152 a day. 

In terms of ticket booking, there will be a travel peak around January 18 and a return peak around January 27. 


As for ticket prices, passengers can currently enjoy big air ticket discounts from Changsha to such places as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. For example, the ticket price from Changsha to Beijing is no less than 350 yuan, and the ticket price from Changsha to Guangzhou is no less than 260 yuan. 

For such popular air routes as Changsha to Hainan and Changsha to Northeast China, the ticket booking rate is high. Among them, the ticket price from Changsha to Harbin is no less than 1,080 yuan, and the ticket price from Changsha to Sanya amounts to at least 790 yuan (the above ticket prices do not include taxes). 

In addition, special preferential products including the “reunion trip” were launched by China Southern Airlines, which are applicable to more than 200 domestic routes of China Southern Airlines. Other products like the tour around China and the business-class travel can also be available during the Spring Festival.
