Yiyang to Changsha section of Chongqing-Xiamen high-speed railway (hereinafter "Yi-Chang section of Yuxia high-speed railway") will be put into operation on September 6.
Tickets are currently on sale from Changsha to Ningxiang West Station, with a second-class ticket priced at 28 yuan, a first-class ticket priced at 45 yuan and a business ticket priced at 92 yuan.

Yi-Chang section of Yuxia high-speed railway is 63 kilometers in length and connects to Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway via Changsha West Station. It is designed with the upper limit standard speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and the normal operation is up to the standard speed of 310 kilometers per hour.
There are three stations along the way: Yiyangnan, Ningxiangxi and Changshaxi. Changshaxi is a reconstructed station, which does not handle passenger service temporarily.

The opening of this high-speed railway will make it more convenient to go from Ningxiang to Changsha.
