Phase I project of Pangeo (Hunan) Foundry Industry Company to go into operation soon
After the construction of the automobile aluminum alloy parts production base was started at the end of August last year, Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (NETDZ) and relevant departments have provided precise assistance for the enterprise to promote the completion of the project.
At present, the plant construction of the project has been completed, relevant facilities for the production in the workshop have been installed, and the staff are now conducting the commissioning work. It’s expected to be put into operation in the middle or late December.
In the roaring production workshop, workers are busy installing and debugging the production equipment.
Tong Chenggang, general manager of Pangeo (Hunan) Foundry Industry Co., Ltd. said: “Now, 90% of the work has been completed, and it can be officially put into production this December. We further optimized the layout of the production lines through creating an intelligent workshop, and realized the intelligent automation of the whole process. This will further improve the production efficiency and quality stability.”
With a total investment of 1 billion yuan and an annual output of 8 million sets of auto aluminum alloy parts, the production base will be an intelligent and high-tech aluminum alloy auto parts production base.
The project is built in three phases. The Phase I project covers an area of 78,000 square meters, mainly producing car pedals, luggage brackets, engine tensioner wheels and other products.
Once completed, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 2 billion yuan and an annual tax contribution of more than 100 million yuan.
“Thanks to the assistance provided by the local governments and the park, the construction is in progress smoothly as scheduled,” said Tong Chenggang.
