The project of Zhongbai Group (Changsha) fresh and baked food production base will settle in Ningxiang Economic & Technological Development Zone (NETDZ), according to the agreement signed on June 16, which will further strengthen the food industrial cluster in the zone.

Zhongbai Holdings Group Co., Ltd. is a listed enterprise mainly engaged in the operation of chain supermarkets, and is one of the 20 state-owned commercial enterprises cultivated by the Ministry of Commerce. It has ranked among China’s top 20 chain operators for many years.
 
The group has multiple commercial brands, such as Zhongbai Warehouse, Zhongbai Supermarket and Zhongbai Lawson convenience stores. It’s a modern commercial enterprise mainly engaged in commercial retail, logistics and distribution, food processing, environmental protection packaging and other fields. The group is responsible for the development and operation of Lawson convenience stores in Hubei and Hunan provinces. There are 17,000 Lawson convenience stores across the world, and 3,100 stores in China, ranking 5^th among convenience store chains in China.  

The construction of this project will provide a complete logistics support for Zhongbai Lawson Convenience Store to expand markets in Hunan, and help it realize a leapfrog development. At the same time, this project will help to further expand the food industrial cluster, and is another important driving force for the development of green food industry in NETDZ.

With a total investment of 100 million yuan, the project rents 17,400 square meters of standard workshops in Xiangjinyi International Industrial Park to build a production base for fresh and baked food, which mainly offers food and distribution for Lawson convenience stores in Changsha and surrounding cities. After completion, it’s expected to achieve an annual output value of 250 million yuan and an annual tax of over 10 million yuan.
