In the workshop of Hunan Sinosteel Smart Equipment Co., Ltd, Ningxiang Economic Development Zone, workers are busy with production and construction.
 
Li Lian, vice general manager of the company, said that the company was founded in 2020, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunan Sinosteel Supplies Trade Co., Ltd. The company has 20 years of experience in engineering machinery supporting services, and has a skilled production team with strong technical strength and high personal quality.
 
Now, the company has established a good strategic cooperative relationship with dozens of domestic large construction machinery enterprises, such as Zoomlion and Sunward. The Sinosteel smart project has a total investment of 600 million yuan, a planned land area of 141.78 mu (9.45 hectares) and a total construction area of 73,000 square meters. It will build multiple intelligent production lines, including high-precision intelligent machinery center, a full range of excavator parts robot welding system, a full range of truck crane head and tail welding robot system, etc. The project is divided into two phases. Now, the first phase is under equipment installation, some pieces of equipment have been put into operation, and the R&D building is being decorated.   
 
Li said that the output value had risen steadily since the first phase of the project began partial production and was expected to reach 60 million yuan in April. Due to the good market condition, the construction of the second phase of the project is also accelerating. The second phase will start in June, and two new joint factories will be built, which is expected to be put into production by the end of November. At that time, the deep processing capacity of steel will reach 100,000 tons, and the annual output value is expected to reach 1.2 billion yuan.
