Recently, Ningxiang High-tech Zone was approved to be a national park by the State Council. Now, Ningxiang City has 2 national parks.

Established in 2006, Ningxiang High-tech Zone was upgraded to a provincial industrial concentration zone in 2012, rated as a provincial high-tech zone in 2015, and passed the acceptance of the national high-tech zone in 2018.

It has won such titles as the National Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection New Materials High-tech Industrialization Base, the National New Industrialization Industry Demonstration Base and the National Battery Industry Cluster Demonstration Zone.

At present, it has formed the “1 plus 1 plus 1” industrial pattern of intelligent equipment manufacturing, advanced energy storage materials and medical devices.

The upgraded Ningxiang High-tech Zone is planned to cover an area of 14.3607 square kilometers and consist of two blocks with 12.7279 square kilometers and 1.6328 square kilometers respectively.

Since this year, Ningxiang High-tech Zone has fully implemented provincial strategies and vigorously promoted the construction of the park, achieving steady progress.

It has been rated as a Five-star New Industrialization Demonstration Base (battery materials) by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China for two consecutive years, and a National Torch Energy Storage
Material Characteristic Industry Base.

It has ranked first among the provincial high-tech zones in terms of innovation and development performance for three consecutive years.
