Honeytom Cable sees increase in annual output value
"In the first five months this year, the company has realized sales revenue of 409 million yuan, and the output value is expected to reach 1.2 billion yuan this year." Liu Jinsheng, chairman of Honeytom Cable Co., Ltd, said that since the company settled in Ningxiang High-tech Zone in 2012, owing to Ningxiang's good business environment, the company has seen a year-on-year increase in output value. Next, the company will make unremitting efforts to promote its high-quality development.
In the workshop of Honeytom, all production lines are operating at full capacity, and thick copper wires are made into cables with different specifications after a series of processes like drawing, twisting and shielding.
"The factory has five stranding machines, 2 of which work around the clock," said Liu Jinsheng. Now, the factory needs no less than 40 tons of copper wires a day, so the trucks that deliver raw materials have to run twice a day, carrying 35 tons of copper wires at a time.
"Last year, the company achieved an output value of 1 billion yuan, a tax revenue of more than 15 million yuan, with 500,000 yuan per mu (about 0.16 acre)," Liu Jinsheng noted. Though the company's production and sales were affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 in the first half of 2020, it still achieved higher output value after hard work in the second half of the year.

"The company's peak production periods start from late May every year. The company still has orders of 300 million yuan unfinished except this quarter's production tasks. Now, more than 35% of the machines in the factory work all the time, and employees have holidays by turns." Liu Jinsheng added that this year's production and sales are going well, and more skilled workers are needed to the complete the orders.
