Up to now, Ningxiang City has made progress in the reform of promoting the integration of urban and rural passenger transportation, and its 278 villages (communities) all have access to bus passenger transportation.
 
Statistics show that Ningxiang increased investment in rural road construction in 2022, with 145.1 kilometers of roads related to tourism, resources and industrial development built, rural roads of 405.8 kilometers upgraded, 100 kilometers of roads that connect villager groups newly built and 20 dangerous bridges reconstructed or reinforced.

At the same time, 125 passenger transportation lines were added and optimized, and there are now 608 buses, which will make all 278 villages (communities) in the whole region accessible by bus. The buses are available for all parks, communities, schools and hospitals in the main urban area. The intercity bus between Ningxiang to Yiyang was also opened. These will further facilitate the travel for both rural and urban residents.
