On November 7, the CCID Investment Competitiveness Top 100 Counties (2023) list was officially released by the CCID Consulting County Economy Research Center.
Ningxiang ranked 19th on the list, advancing one place from last year.

On November 7, 2023, the CCID Consulting County Economy Research Center officially released the “Research Report on 2023 China Top 100 Counties with Investment Competitiveness ”.
Following comprehensive, objective, and scientific evaluation principles, the research assessed the investment competitiveness of 1,864 county-level administrative units nationwide (excluding the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and Taiwan, as well as municipal districts, special zones, and forest regions), including 394 county-level cities, 1301 counties, 117 autonomous counties, 49 banners, and 3 autonomous banners from five dimensions: government service capability, investment vitality, factor attraction capability, infrastructure support, and ecological environment.
Among the Top 100 Counties with Investment Competitiveness, Ningxiang's ranking has steadily advanced in recent years: 34th place in 2019, 26th place in 2020, 24th place in 2021, 20th place in 2022, and 19th place in 2023.

Since the beginning of this year, Ningxiang has fully implemented four major special actions: accelerating efficiency, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, escorting with the rule of law, and implementing policies, which further stimulated market vitality and social creativity, and led to a steady improvement in the competitiveness of the business environment.
In April of this year, Ningxiang was selected as an “Innovative City in Business Environment”; in July, it was listed as one of the top 100 counties nationwide in comprehensive tourism strength, ranking 37th.
