In 2023, the Mid-Autumn Festival coincided with the National Day holiday, resulting in an eight-day long vacation.
The weather throughout the entire holiday was sunny, and tourists were highly enthusiastic about traveling. Various scenic spots in Ningxiang organized special themed activities, welcoming the highest influx of visitors during the National Day holiday in recent years.
During the holiday period, the Huaminglou Scenic Area, Fantawild Oriental Heritage, and Tanhe Ancient Town ranked among the top tourist destinations in Changsha. Tourists from various places enjoyed a wonderful and pleasant holiday in Ningxiang together.

During the holiday period, Fantawild Oriental Heritage held the “Nine States Folk Festival” event. They introduced the Nine Provinces Folk Market and various styles of festival-themed photo spots, carefully presenting interesting folk customs such as ethnic drumming, bamboo pole dancing, and door-blocking wine.
Dozens of distinctive performances were staged in rotation, providing visitors with non-stop surprises throughout the day. At night, thousands of unmanned drones illuminated the night sky, accompanied by dazzling fireworks to celebrate the birth of the nation, offering visitors a visual feast. During the holiday period, Changsha Fantawild received over 126,000 visitors.
Huilong Mountain Scenic Area held its first Folk Temple Fair. During the event, there were not only intangible cultural heritage experiences such as Wushan tea pounding, sugar painting, and paper cutting, but also splendid performances of Ningxiang flower drum opera and Huitang acrobatics. Visitors were able to experience the charm of Ningxiang's folk culture through food, drink, and entertainment.

Zifuyao Scenic Area invited popular anchors to sing songs.

 Jiulongcang Times Outlets held the “Modern Holiday Music Show” with numerous promotional activities in full swing.
Visitors could enjoy real shopping discounts while watching the show, allowing them to have a fun-filled holiday shopping experience.

During the holiday period, Tanhe Ancient Town transformed into the “Dopamine Kingdom” with the theme of “Dopamine Carnival.” They organized activities such as Dopamine flash mob, Dopamine concert, Dopamine themed performances, and Dopamine fun games, saturating the atmosphere with vibrant colors and joyful emotions.

Visitors could immerse themselves in the rhythm and beats, enjoying the festive carnival. According to statistics, Tanhe Ancient Town received nearly 100,000 visitors.

As the weather gradually cooled down, it was a small pleasure of the holiday to invite a few friends and soak in the warm hot springs.

The Huitang Hot Spring Tourism Resort gradually entered its peak season during the holiday period.

They offered tempting intangible cultural heritage handcraft experiences, as well as flag-raising ceremonies, outdoor movies, flower drum opera performances, poetry gatherings, National Day noodles, beer barbecues, and other enjoyable activities at Zilongwan Hot Spring Resort.

Jintaiyang Hot Spring Resort introduced a grapefruit-themed hot spring bath and fun activities for families such as catching mud loaches and fish, parent-child rowing races, attracting many families for a fun-filled experience.

At the same time, a carefully planned “Celebrating the Prosperous Era, Singing for the Motherland” cultural performance was held.

Tourists and performers joined together in a grand chorus to celebrate the anniversary of the motherland, creating a lively atmosphere and boosting the enthusiasm of the visitors.

Reservations at Huatiancheng Hot Spring Resort Hotel, Huitang Hot Spring  Sanatorium, and Footprint Island Starry Sky Homestay were in high demand.
Visiting Red landmarks, exploring historical sites, and paying tribute to revolutionary predecessors have become a new trend in tourism.

During the holiday period, Huaminglou, the hometown of Comrade Liu Shaoqi, continued to attract a large number of visitors.

According to statistics, Huaminglou received approximately 140,000 visitors. He Shuheng and Xie Juezhai’s hometown in Shatian Township, Nanxuan Cultural Park in Xiangzikou, and Shilun Pass in Xiaduo Village also attracted a steady stream of visitors.
The Fragrant Rice Paddy Farm launched the Autumn Harvest Camping activity. Visitors not only experienced agricultural competitive activities such as harvesting rice, playing toss rings, sand football, and running, but also participated in drying autumn crops, making barbecue, and camping under the stars.

Daolin Ancient Town was filled with flowers, and popular attractions such as the internet-famous small train, giant scarecrows, and performing arts programs attracted visitors to take photos.

Tongcheng Hot Spring Hotel organized activities such as joyful radish pulling and ancient-style pitching, and characters like Snow White and Panda Chengcheng led visitors to enjoy a wonderful and magical family vacation.

The ticket packages launched by Tongcheng Hot Spring Hotel at 399 yuan, Xiangdu Ecological Agricultural Park, and Zilong Bay Hot Spring Resort at 999 yuan were highly favored by visitors.
