Changsha has five top 50 global construction machinery manufacturers
The list of Top 50 Global Construction Machinery Manufacturers was released at the Construction Machinery Technology Innovation Summit and Prime Suppliers 500 Launch Ceremony held in Beijing. 13 enterprises from China entered the list and five of them are from Changsha, including Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion, China Railway Construction Heavy Industry, Sunward and Sinoboom, ranking 5th, 9th, 32nd, 38th and 48th respectively.
The list is jointly released by the organizing committee of the Top 50 Summit Of World Construction Machinery Industry and the magazine “China Mechanical Engineering”. And it has been updated for 22 consecutive times from 2002, and has been widely recognized in the industry for its scientific, objective, truthful and accurate selection standards.
Known as the “Capital of Construction Machinery” in China, Changsha has five top 50 global construction machinery manufacturers. The local construction machinery cluster has been the largest in the country for more than a decade, producing about 70% of the country’s construction machinery product varieties and 23% of the country’s output value.
Data from the Changsha Construction Machinery Association showed that in the first half of this year, the output value of core host enterprises in the construction machinery industry in Changsha exceeded 100 billion yuan.
As a leader in the equipment manufacturing industry, Sany Group ranks 5th on the list. Sany Group has always regarded R&D innovation as the first driving force for its high-quality development.

The export of construction machinery has grown rapidly since this year.
Li Changjian, general manager of the high-altitude machinery business department of Sunward said that in the first half of this year, the export revenue of Sunward increased by 220% year on year.
Sinoboom’s ranking remains the same as the previous year. In recent years, Sinoboom has been developing rapidly, and continuously made breakthroughs in product research and development and technological innovation.
Sinoboom has achieved outstanding results in high-end, international, intelligent and green development.
