Recently, Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism released a statistical table of tourist areas from January to July in 2023.

The data shows that a total of 416 tourist areas monitored received a total of 221 million visitors, a 103.69% increase compared to the same period last year. The total revenue reached 26.909 billion yuan, reflecting a 105.57% increase year on year.

11 5A level, 142 4A level and 259 3A level and below scenic areas received a total of 57.36, 78.93 and 85.17 million visitors respectively, a 156.68%, 101.73% and 80.26% increase year on year.
