Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China announced the list of National Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factories for the year 2023. Hunan CNGR New Energy Science&Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as CNGR New Energy) located in Ningxiang City, Hunan Province, made the list.
With this recognition, Ningxiang City now has a total of 10 national-level intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration factories, 27 provincial-level factories, and 257 city-level factories in Changsha, bringing the total to 294.

In recent years, Ningxiang City has deepened its efforts in intelligent manufacturing, and continuously optimized its business environment. It has implemented a series of measures to promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.

In 2013, Ningxiang City was the first in the province to propose subsidies for enterprises to purchase advanced equipment. Over the past decade, the city has allocated a total of 308 million yuan in funds for intelligent technological transformation, providing subsidies for more than 4,800 sets of equipment purchased by nearly 500 companies. This has greatly enhanced the intelligent manufacturing capabilities of local enterprises.

The project for which CNGR New Energy was selected is the Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factory for Lithium Battery Ternary Cathode Materials. It is supported by the intelligent technological transformation funds from the local government.

In recent years, CNGR New Energy has actively responded to national policies and deepened its understanding of digital transformation in the new energy materials industry. The company has systematically planned and implemented digital and intelligent construction.

Earlier this year, CNGR New Energy built a unified digital platform and established an agile digital operation system to enhance its digital capabilities, empower its operation and management throughout the entire process, which helped achieve precise and scientific decision-making, efficient organizational coordination, and rapid replication of models.

During a recent visit to CNGR New Energy, reporters saw a network of pipelines connecting various vessels, while production controllers sat in the central control room, monitoring production processes, controlling equipment parameters, and managing production capacity distribution through display screens.

“In 2023, we will continue to lead in terms of the shipment and export volume of our core products. Thanks to the government’s support for the digital and intelligent transformation of private enterprises, our workshops are running at full capacity, making us the most valuable new energy material service provider in the world,” said Liu Yi, General Manager of CNGR New Energy, during the interview.

It is reported that CNGR New Energy has been included in the list of national-level green factories announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

It is also recognized as one of the seventh batch of national-level champions in the manufacturing industry and a demonstration enterprise for green design of industrial products.

In 2021, the output value of CNGR New Energy in Hunan Province exceeded 10 billion yuan. As the Advanced Functional Powder Materials Industrial Park project of CNGR New Energy was officially signed on May 29, 2023, the company continued to expand its refining capacity for raw materials and improve its self-sufficiency rate.

To ensure the completion and production of the industrial park project, Ningxiang City has established a service team to provide precise services.
At the same time, the city is committed to fulfilling its investment promotion commitments and providing support for enterprises in industrial investment, power construction, and foreign trade exports.

The main leaders of Ningxiang City and Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone have coordinated their efforts and worked together. In less than three months, nearly 1,000 mu of land for three types of industries has been approved. In addition, to ensure the land used for the project, the main leaders of the city have conducted on-site office work to command the demolition and relocation.

Each department and unit have carried out detailed and precise actions. After ten-day and ten-night hard work, all the households have signed to agree on demolition and relocation.

“The development of the new energy industry relies on energy storage. We will build the world's largest new energy material research and development base in the favorable business environment of Ningxiang City.”

 The person in charge of the CNGR New Energy Industrial Base project introduced that the industrial base has basically completed the overall project construction, including a production workshop with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of intelligent precursor materials, the CNGR R&D and innovation workshop ranking first in the industry in terms of capacity, and supporting environmental protection workshops.

The company’s core products are widely used in the fields of 3C digital, new energy vehicles, and energy storage.
