NETDZ on Top 100 Advanced Manufacturing Parks list

Changsha High-tech Zone, Changsha Economic Development Zone and Ningxiang Economic & Technological Development Zone and  are on the list of "Top 100 Advanced Manufacturing Parks (2023)", ranking 17th, 30th and 65th in the country respectively, according to the results released by the Advanced Manufacturing Research Center, a research institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.


The list of "Top 100 advanced manufacturing parks (2023)" measures the comprehensive level of advanced manufacturing in national high-tech zones and economic development zones in terms of five dimensions: economic strength, innovation potential, integration ability, industrial cohesion and green power.

Ningxiang Economic & Technological Development Zone ranks 65th, 5 places higher compared to last year, becoming the park that improved the most among the three parks on the list. Ningxiang Economic Development Zone was established in 1998 and upgraded to a national economic development zone in 2010, and has been awarded various honors, such as China Food Industry Demonstration Park, National Intellectual Property Pilot Park, and National Green Park.

At present, the park has introduced and cultivated more than 500 enterprises, including 233 enterprises above designated size, 173 high-tech enterprises, 3 local listed enterprises, more than 50 ones invested by Fortune 500 and listed companies, 55 provincial and above R&D institutions, and 31 provincial-level and above specialized and special new "little giant" enterprises.

From January to June this year, the number of newly introduced projects with investment of more than 10 billion yuan, major provincial projects, and newly started projects all ranked first among Changsha's national parks.
