On July 7, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Phase I project of Huazhang Data Changsha No.1 Smart Computing Center was held in Ningxiang High-tech Zone, Ningxiang City.

Hunan Century Cloud Big Data Co., Ltd. is set to invest 3 billion yuan in the construction of an Internet data center covering 67.8 mu (45,200 square meters), with a planned total area of 125,000 square meters. The project includes four data buildings, one comprehensive building, one 110kV substation, and related supporting facilities. As part of the plan, 10,000 modem racks will be installed, 60% of which will be air-cooled ones.

This project will provide high-quality services for the new generation of the information technology industry, accelerate the formation of new driving forces for industrial development, and lay an important foundation for the innovation demonstration group of digital economy and digital city, effectively promoting digital industrialization and industrial digitization.

At the ceremony, Li Zhenjiang, vice president of Huazhang Data Technology Company, said that they will actively play a major role in supporting the construction of the digital government, focus on promoting the construction of new infrastructure such as 5G networks and industrial internet, and comprehensively serve the development of digital economy in Ningxiang High-tech Zone.

In the next step, Ningxiang High-tech Zone will accelerate the deep integration with Digital Ningxiang, driving digitization and intelligent development in a wider range of sectors. Efforts will be made to step up the construction of smart city, digital villages, and digital government systems. The overall goal is to accelerate the digital transformation, thereby making significant contributions to the high-quality development of the city’s economy and society.
