On May 1, the third day of this year's five-day May Day holiday, tourists came in an endless stream in the Tanhe Ancient Town and Tanheli Bronze Culture Museum.
At 10 o'clock in the morning, tourists queued up to enter the Tanhe Ancient Town. The staff and volunteers maintained order inside and outside the venue, provided tourists with warm services such as tourism consultation, and guided tourists to travel in a civilized way. The Tanhe Ancient Town was bustling with tourists from all over the country. Many tourists took photos at the popular scenic spots, like West Zhou Palace, West Zhou Film Museum and Daji Ghost House. Here, they could experience the West Zhou customs and enjoy the ancient culture at the same time.

During the May Day holiday, Tanhe Ancient Town launched a series of wonderful activities to attract tourists. From April 29 to May 1, it received more than 50,000 tourists. And "The Tanhe Eternal Love", which used to be performed only once a day, has been staged four or five times every day during the period.
On May 1, Tanhe Ancient Town ranked ninth in the top ten popular scenic spots of Changsha.

According to a manager of the scenic area, in order to cope with the dramatic increase of the number of tourists, they had carried out a number of safety inspections and staff training before the holiday. Since April 29, the scenic area has opened three new ecological parking lots and worked with village cadres, traffic police and volunteers to guide traffic and parking, in the hope of providing tourists with more comfortable and convenient services.
