According to the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, there were 7 new industrial enterprises with an annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan in Changsha in 2022, including 3 in Ningxiang.

The three enterprises in Ningxiang are Changsha Findreams Battery Co., Ltd., Hunan Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. and Changsha Gree HVC Equipment Co., Ltd.

Up to now, there are 19 industrial enterprises with an annual output value of 10 billion yuan in Changsha, and 5 in Ningxiang City, accounting for more than 1/4 of the total.

The fruitful results couldn’t have been achieved without Ningxiang’s efforts. Now, Ningxiang has gathered more than 10 10-billion-yuan and 1-billion-yuan enterprises, including Sany Medium Lifting Machinery, CNGR New Energy, Changsha Gree and Jiajia Food.

These enterprises cover such fields as advanced energy storage materials, smart appliances and smart hardware, engineering machinery, food and agricultural products processing and life science.
They are making contributions to the prosperous development of industries, consolidating the industrial development foundation and building a modern industrial system.

The busy production scene witnessed the new leap of Findreams Battery in Ningxiang. In 2022, the company achieved an output value of 14.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 321%, and became the third enterprise with an output value of more than 10 billion yuan in Ningxiang.
After years of development, Brunp Recycling has gradually grown into an “aircraft carrier” in the industrial chain of advanced energy storage materials. It has created a battery industry chain cycle system, and connected the industrial closed-loop of “battery production, usage, cascade utilization, recovery and resource regeneration”. In 2022, the output value will reach 14.3 billion yuan, up 60% year on year, and became the fourth enterprise with an output value of more than 10 billion yuan in the city.
With the expansion of production and capacity, Changsha Gree’s output value in 2022 has also exceeded 10 billion yuan, becoming the fifth enterprise in Ningxiang with an output value of more than 10 billion yuan.

After years of development and expansion and the formation of the scale effect of the whole industrial chain, Ningxiang City has become one of the few regions in China with a complete energy storage material industrial chain.

As an industry chain with great development potential in Ningxiang, the energy storage material industry has achieved rapid development through major projects and additional investment on the basis of realizing an output value of 17 billion yuan in 2020.

It has maintained a rapid growth of about 60% for two consecutive years, with a total output value of nearly 60 billion yuan, ranking the first in the province.
The rapid development of the energy storage material industry in Ningxiang has helped Changsha significantly enhance the dialogue with the world's energy storage industry.

This year, within two years, the local government of Ningxiang will achieve a total output value of more than 100 billion yuan, and strive to form a pattern of “there is a Ningde (Fujian Province) in South China and Ningxiang in Central China” in the field of advanced energy storage materials.

Over the past year, the city has successfully introduced major industrial projects whose output value will soon exceed 5 billion yuan, 10 billion yuan or even 20 billion yuan through new investment attraction ways. The advanced energy storage material industry is flourishing, and a 100-billion-yuan industry is just around the corner.

A reasonable and perfect industrial system is an important support for the high-quality development of industrial economy. In 2022, Ningxiang issued an action plan to build a new material industry cluster with 100 billion yuan led by advanced energy storage materials, and an equipment manufacturing industry cluster with 100 billion yuan led by engineering machinery and smart appliances.

Meanwhile, through considerate services, it strengthened the cultivation of high-tech enterprises, little giant enterprises and listed enterprises, supported key enterprises to increase capital and expand production, helped newly-settled enterprises to accelerate the construction and production, comprehensively created the hard and soft environment suitable for corporate development.

In addition, the city has also made utmost efforts to provide space for the settlement of high-quality projects and form a “strong magnetic field” for investment attraction.

Also, the city further integrated the needs of enterprises in the park, accelerated the construction of “Five Good Park”, increased investment in the construction of industrial parks and its surrounding supporting facilities, like community service centers, culture and sports, and made every effort to solve their actual problems including food, housing, medical treatment, children’s enrollment.
This year, the city will strengthen and expand the industrial chains, and help 10-billion-yuan enterprises become new forces in the development of industries in Ningxiang, so as to make the leading and characteristic industries a new engine of Ningxiang’s economic development.
