During the Spring Festival holiday, all scenic spots in Ningxiang city staged wonderful theme activities both online and offline, ushering in a good start in the new year. Tourists who came to Ningxiang enjoyed a wonderful holiday.
Folk custom activities create festive atmosphere

In the 2023 Spring Festival, Ningxiang City held eight activities in cultural venues, tourist attractions, supermarkets and other places in the city with the theme of “celebrating the Spring Festival” through flower drums, dragon and lion dance, and lantern riddle guessing.
The Municipal Cultural Tourism Investment Company held the Spring Festival Folk Culture Festival in Huilong Mountain Scenic Area, inviting inheritors of intangible cultural heritage to perform such skills as lion dance, Yangko dance, and stilt walking, and also launched activities such as the Children’s Play Carnival and the Chinese Food Festival.
At the same time, all townships and sub-districts in the city held cultural activities such as Spring Festival Gala and Spring couplets presenting activity, creating a strong festive atmospherer.

Guochao activities draw many tourists

During the holiday, Fantawild Oriental Heritage launched themed activities such as the temple fair, folk games, red envelope distribution, etc. to create a strong festive atmosphere. During the festival, Fantawild Oriental Heritage extended its business hours to 9 pm, and the fireworks show was displayed for 15 consecutive days to celebrate the New Year.
Tanheli Bronze Culture Museum launched activities with the theme of walking into the Western Zhou Dynasty, such as the visiting the Museum at Spring Festival, Garden Tour, and Lantern Riddle Guessing.
Tanhe Ancient City held such themed activities as the New Year Parent-Child Garden Party, allowing visitors to walk in the ancient streets and enjoy a different new year holiday.

Light and lantern shows enrich tourists’ experience

Guanshan Ancient Town held the first Guanshan Ancient Town Folk Culture and Art Festival as well as the Lantern Festival, enabling visitors to experience the lively and extraordinary lighting event, travel through thousands of years back to the ancient times, watch the lanterns and pray for blessings.
The second Night Bathing Hot Spring Lighting Art Festival was held in Huitang Town of Ningxiang.

Leisure and wellness tours allow people to enjoy themselves  

At the beginning of the new year, visitors came to Huaminglou Scenic Area, Shatian Township, Miyin Temple and Huitang for leisure and wellness. Happy Outlets has also become a popular destination for citizens during the Spring Festival.
Hotels and homestays, such as Dolton Changsha Spa Hotel, and farmhouses launched New Year’s theme activities and special dishes to celebrate the new year with Ningxiang characteristics, attracting a large number of tourists.
