Advanced manufacturing industry is the main force of global science and technology innovation. The Research Center of Intelligent Equipment Industry of CCID Consulting recently released “CCID Consulting’s Top 100 Advanced Manufacturing Cities (2022)”. Six cities in Hunan Province were selected on the list, which are Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Hengyang, Changde and Yueyang.

The Research Center has carried out assessment and research on the development level of advanced manufacturing industry in cities for five consecutive years from 2018, providing reference for the development of advanced manufacturing industry in each city. It has conducted a systematic study and comprehensive evaluation of the advanced manufacturing development in 293 prefecture-level cities across China in five dimensions: innovation capability, integrated development, economic drive, brand quality and green centralization.
