‘City Partner’ cloud recruitment launched

Recently, the Communist Youth League Changsha Municipal Party Committee launched the 2022 Changsha “City Partner” industry talent reserve cloud recruitment activity. It planned to invite more than 100 enterprises of intelligent manufacturing, computer information technology and new consumption to participate and provide more than 5,000 jobs.


An online platform brings jobs and job seekers together

Zhaopin, a third-party company, was commissioned to carry out the recruitment. A cloud recruitment platform (https://cshhr.zhaopin.com/) for Changsha “City Partner” industry talent reserve was built.

Fresh graduates and young job seekers could log on the platform to view job information, choose desired positions and send resumes. Employers and students could make two-way choices.


Managers from such enterprises as Hunan Caohua Interactive Technology Company, Malawangzi and Watsons introduced the current situation and development prospects of their enterprises during the first livestreaming session.

A total of 12,720 young job seekers were attracted and nearly 1,000 people sent resumes online. Viewers could make comments, give likes, take lucky draws and attend online interviews.

Young engineers give lectures 

In order to guide college graduates to change their employment concept and actively join the advanced manufacturing industry in Changsha, the Municipal Party Committee also invited Tan Liang, an electrical engineer of Changsha FinDreams Battery Co. Ltd., who has won the award of the national technical expert, to give a lecture online, telling how he overcame technical problems and how he grew from his post.


Meanwhile, the Municipal Party Committee also invited Yang Pengfei, a young talent development expert from Zhaopin, to give special guidance on job seeking and career planning, in an effort to further improve the ability of new graduates to find jobs.
 
Employment pairing assistance 
 
This year, the Municipal Party Committee has organized league cadres to offer pairing assistance to unemployed young people from low-income families. In combination with the industry talent reserve recruitment activities, at least two jobs suitable for the overall personal situation would be recommended for each object of assistance. 

On the same day, the Municipal Party Committee gave employment assistance package which included business wear, business backpacks and employment situation analysis to student representatives from needy families.

The Municipal Party Committee has formulated the Three-year Action Plan for Promoting Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship (2022-2024). Through four special actions of internship and training, community practice, employment assistance, innovation and entrepreneurship, it has explored the construction of a long-term mechanism for promoting youth employment and entrepreneurship, in a bid to help young people improve employability, change employment concepts and optimize entrepreneurship environment.
