Since this summer, many places across the country have seen scorching weather, so that the summer tourism market is booming.

In Hunan Province, a large number of tourists choose to stay in the mountains to cool off in the extremely hot days.

Weishan Mountain Scenic Area in Ningxiang City, known as a summer resort, has become a popular destination for tourists to travel in the summer. The homestay inns located at the foot of Weishan Mountain are also popular with tourists, and the occupancy rate is rising during the summer season.

Weishan Mountain is located in the west of Ningxiang, 75 kilometers from Ningxiang City and 95 kilometers from Changsha City. The natural alpine basin is cloudy all year round. The average altitude is 700 meters, and the daytime temperature in summer is 5-6 ℃ lower than that in Changsha.

Weishan's Liujiazhuang No. 8 Homestay has 20 rooms in total. The rooms are full all the time this summer. Qingleju Homestay, 5 kilometers from Liujiazhuang No. 8, is popular too.

At present, it's hard to book a room in Weishan. At its peak, more than 6,000 people stayed overnight. This year, the number of tourists in Weishan Mountain is expected to exceed 250,000, bringing direct economic income of more than 50 million yuan.

There are 198 homestay inns in Weishan Mountain, including 88 star-rated ones, with 6,116 beds. In addition to short-term travel, there are many tourists who choose to stay here for a long time in summer.

Among them, more than 60% of tourists stay in the mountain for more than 1 month. Some even stay for half a year because of the affordable price.
