It’s time to pick grapes

By | nxiang.net| Updated:  Aug 04,2022 L M S
It is just the ripe season of grapes. Bunches of crystal-clear grapes are hanging on the branches, attracting many visitors to pick and taste at Yinlong Vineyard in Shanshanling Village, Daolin Town, Ningxiang City.

The bunches of grapes are mouth-watering, with thin skin, thick flesh, sweet taste and sweet fragrance. Under the grape trellis, visitors enjoyed the fun of picking grapes.

The vineyard covers an area of nearly 50 mu (about 3.33 hectares). There are more than 10 varieties of grapes like Summer Black, Kyoho grape, Shine Muscat, etc. This year's output is expected to reach 50 tons.

Because the vineyard is next to the "Millennium Iron Soul of Hunan People" Scenic Spot, the increasing popularity of the scenic spot has driven the rapid development of local tourism and leisure agriculture.

In recent years, with the help and support of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Municipal Supervision Bureau and the Daolin Township Government, the vineyard has created a modern grape plantation integrating ecology, leisure, tourism, fishing and B&B through variet improvement and technological investment to develop rural tourism for people's wealth and ecological beauty.

At present, based on the standardized grape planting, Daolin Town integrates the agricultural tourism and special industries such as wine and honey, and actively explores the leading role of traditional agricultural industries in the transformation of old and new growth drivers and the demonstration effect in rural revitalization.

Very close to Changsha, Doulin Town enjoys an obvious geographical advantage and rich tourism forms. Its name has been well known in Hunan.
