A technical training session on rice planting was carried out in Zifu Town, Ningxiang City on May 15, and more than 100 farmers in the village attended the training.
Experts taught farmers how to better control pests with less use of pesticides, proposed green and effective methods to cope with common pest problems and heavy metal in rice, and recommended some new pesticides for pest and disease control.

Farmers also got answers to the questions they encountered in daily production. After the training, experts came to the field to check the rice growth and offered relevant advice.

The training aims to provide effective technical support for grain production, promote high quality and high yield of rice, which will contribute to food security as well.
