A notice on the application for R&D subsidy for enterprises in 2022 was jointly issued by the provincial Department of Science and Technology, Department of Finance, Tax Bureau and Statistics Bureau, the news from the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province on May 10.

In order to further implement the plan of increasing the investment of R&D funds in the whole society and encourage enterprises in Hunan Province to increase R&D investment in a planned and continuous manner, it plans to provide subsidies for new R & D investment in 2021.

The notice makes it clear that the eligible enterprises will be subsidized by 10% of the new R&D investment in 2021 compared with 2020. The annual subsidy for high-tech enterprises and enterprises with R&D platforms and excellent assessment at provincial level or above within the scope of subsidies for the first time can reach ten million yuan, and the annual subsidy for other enterprises is five million yuan.

The enterprises can log onto the “Hunan Province Science and Technology Information System Public Service Platform” and apply for the R&D subsidy from June 1 to June 30.
