Changsha Metro launches 2022 public welfare publicity campaign

In order to welcome the Hunan Tourism Development Conference, Changsha Metro Group Co., Ltd. has launched 2022 public welfare publicity campaign. Citizens can enjoy the beautiful spring scenery of Hunan Province in Changsha’s major subway stations.


A thematic exhibition hall for new business forms of cultural tourism in Hunan provides travel guides for citizens and gears up for the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference.

“Make the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference a powerful engine for building a modern and new Hunan,” reads a slogan in the thematic exhibition hall of Yingwanzhen Subway Station in Changsha City. 


The exhibition hall displays the development and current situation of Hunan and the representative scenic spots with new business forms in 14 cities and prefectures. Both sides of the exhibition hall stand walls of brand culture.

One analyses the four new forms of tourism products with four addition formulas while the other one shows some thoughts on the new forms of tourism market and personal tourism experience shared by founders and representatives of the major scenic spots.

Every new form of business including self-driving campsites, ice leisure tourism high-quality homestay inns, food streets and so on is to stimulate the development of cultural tourism and bring citizens more fun.

Changsha Subway Digital Art Museum and “a new mode of interaction + tourism consumption” innovate the subway scene and redefine the new interaction of cultural tourism.


Citizens can “travel around” the towering mountains of Zhangjiajie City every day by visiting the Changsha Subway Digital Art Museum in Yingwanzhen Subway Station. Its double 8K devices help reproduce the natural marvels of Zhangjiajie and the multi-sensory experience of sound and sight attracts people to immerse themselves in the sea of clouds.

In addition, scenery of Shaoyang, Chenzhou, Huaihua and other places will be available in the Changsha Subway Digital Art Museum.

At the exhibition hall, citizens can visit Hunan via the face-scanning system. A giant camera is set up on the spot, which can allow people to “travel” to any tourist destination through such new media technologies as AR capture and image mapping without green screen. 

The 2022 public welfare publicity campaign has received positive response from more than 60 tourism units and enterprises in 14 cities and prefectures in Hunan.


In the first month, 188 scenic spots appeared on eight thematic trains and more than 2,000 poster light boxes (3m*1.5m). In addition, the campaign is advertised through LED screens at the major hubs of Changsha Metro 24 hours a day.

The public welfare publicity campaign is guided by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and hosted by Tiwen Metro Media, joined by many other media like LED outdoor advertising. Joint efforts made by all kinds of media in publicity help cultural tourism enterprises tide over difficulties and pave the way for the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference.

The 2022 public welfare publicity campaign will last till June 30. Citizens can appreciate the scenery in the subway on their commute.
