As the Spring Festival is drawing near, there are still risks of epidemic transmissions. To consolidate achievements in fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic, the Hunan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Hunan CDC) gives the following travel tips to the public.

Workers in high-exposure risk jobs, including staff members at ports of entry, isolation sites, designated hospitals and cold chain enterprises, should avoid traveling during the holiday.

Those who need to travel must be absent from work for 14 days and provide negative testing results within 48 hours and report it to their units.

Make proper travel arrangements. You are advised against traveling other popular scenic spots and during rush hours except for essential reasons.

Any travel to medium- and high-risk areas or provinces and regions with locally transmitted cases should be avoided.

Those who arrive at land border cities must take nucleic acid testing for at least once upon arrival.

Those from counties (cities or districts) with new infections, or who have overlapped activities with any announced confirmed cases and have yellow or red health code within the past 14 days, must voluntarily inform their community (village), company or hotel.

Health management for those coming or returning to Hunan will be implemented. Those who come to Hunan must show their health QR codes and digital travel records.

Those from provinces with locally transmitted confirmed cases, including asymptomatic cases, must provide negative testing results within 48 hours when coming or returning to Hunan.

They must take a nucleic acid test within 24 hours after arrival in the province, and monitor health conditions and continue to quarantine themselves for 14 days.

Those come or return to Hunan from provinces with no locally transmitted confirmed cases, including no asymptomatic cases, must provide negative testing results within 48 hours.

The number of large-scale events like temple fairs, shows, and promotional activities should be strictly controlled during the Spring Festival holiday. Large gatherings should be avoided. Events of more than 50 people are discouraged. Individuals who are going to hold banquets of more than 50 people must inform the community or village committee, so as to implement strict epidemic prevention and control.
