The 2021 Emergency Rescue Drill of Large Amusement Facilities in Hunan Province was held in Changsha Fangte Theme Park recently.
The drill simulated the situation that a roller coaster stayed in mid-air due to the sudden power failure and 8 tourists were trapped. The staff quickly carried out rescue and 6 tourists were successfully rescued while the other 2 tourists could not be rescued immediately due to the mechanical failure. And the staff immediately reported the situation to the superior agencies.
Upon learning of this news, Ningxiang Municipal People's Government immediately launched the level IV emergency response and coordinated many departments to cooperate with the rescue. Finally, 8 tourists were rescued safely.

Changsha Fangte Theme Park will carry out safety inspection and maintenance of various amusement equipment every week and every month, and regularly hold various emergency drills to ensure its abilities of emergency response.
The purpose of this drill is to improve the ability of the park and the relevant departments to deal with all kinds of accidents that happen for large amusement facilities and ensure the life and safety of users and operators.
