In the 2020 national Business environment evaluation released by the National Development and Reform Commission this year, Changsha was rated as one of the top ten cities with the fastest improvement in business environment, ranking the second in central China.

The two evaluations are proof of the improved business environment of Changsha from the perspectives of the government and the market.

The business environment is directly related to the productivity, competitiveness and attractiveness of a city.

Hunan has vigorously promoted reforms to protect all kinds of economic property rights of all ownership and create a stable, fair and transparent business environment. And Changsha has taken the lead in optimizing the business environment, providing a strong support for high-quality development.

At the beginning of the 14th Five-year Plan (2021-2025), Changsha has continued to optimize its business environment with higher standards, wider fields and deeper levels, and strive to build reputation on business environment with Changsha characteristics from a fair and inclusive ecosystem to personalized services.

A market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment has been set as the goal at the 14th municipal party congress.

In a world where all things are connected, Changsha's business environment has made up for the geographical disadvantage of not being close to the border or any sea, and become its shining brand to attract visitors from all over the world and boost high-quality economic development.
