The list of China’s top 100 smart cities (counties) in 2021 was released recently. Ningxiang City ranked first in Changsha with the total score of 92.64 points. New information technologies such as big data, cloud computing and AI have been integrated into people’s daily life nowadays, which brought the masses with the great convenience through the construction of smart city.
Smart city is a big and ongoing project. In recent years, Ningxiang city has been promoting the construction of a new smart city. Based on more than 60 applications for the convenience of people and enterprises, the city has strengthened the development and utilization of big data and the integration and sharing of information systems. The municipal data resource center has taken the lead in handling public services via one APP, which greatly improves the people’s sense of involvement, gain and happiness.
