The operating hours of Changsha metro lines 1-6 will be prolonged to 24:00 PM every Friday and Saturday from July 8 to August 27 to facilitate travel at night and boost the city's night economy.

As the transfer station of Line 2&4 and an important transportation hub connecting the high-speed rail and the maglev line, the passenger volume in Changsha South Railway Station has increased during the summer vacation.

In order to further improve the customer service quality and travel efficiency, Changsha Metro has improved the ticketing equipment in Changsha South Railway Station, adding 10 automatic ticket machines in the entrances and exits 3, 4 and 5.
