Recently, due to the resurgence of Covid-19 pandemic, it's important to take strict measures to stem the spread of the virus. Travel policies are adjusted in accordance with the continuously updated list of medium- and high-risked regions around the country. Here are some travel reminders in Hunan province.

Green health codes and travel records are necessary for passengers entering and leaving Changsha Airport 

Changsha Huanghua International Airport has launched “circuit breaker” mechanism for airlines. No international flights will be operated in August.

All passengers entering and leaving the airport must have normal body temperature not higher than 37.3℃, hold green health codes and travel codes, and had not been to or lived in outbound regions, or domestic medium- and high-risk regions, within the past 14 days.

In case one passenger holds a yellow code, had been to the medium- and high-risk regions within the past 14 days, or had not completed a 21-day quarantine upon travel in key investigated areas or inbound arrival, he or she needs to show a negative nucleic acid test result within 7 days. The epidemiological investigators at the airport will determine whether the passenger can enter or leave. 

Currently, nucleic acid test results are required for the passengers leaving Hunan through Changde and Zhangjaijie airports. At the airports in Changde, Zhangjaijie, and Huaihua, non-passengers are not allowed to enter the terminal buildings. 

Nucleic acid test results are required when entering high-speed railway stations in Zhuzhou and Xiangtan cities.

“Passengers are required to show their nucleic acid test results before entering the high-speed railway stations in Zhuzhou and Xiangtan cities. In other stations without special requirements, passengers can enter or leave based on their health codes and travel records.”

Airlines announce ticket refund and rescheduling policies.

Several airlines have rolled out and updated the policies for passenger ticket refund and rescheduling. However, the applicable dates of free refunds and rescheduling for flights in and out of different airports vary by airlines. Passengers are reminded to keep an eye on the airlines’ official information channels and learn about related policies. 

12306 railway ticket-booking platform extends ticket refund and rescheduling service hours.

The official online railway ticket-booking platform 12306 will extend its ticket rescheduling service hours to 20 hours daily, which changes from current 5:00 to 23:30, to 5:00 to 1:00 on the following day. The existing 24-hour ticket refund service is still available, according to the China State Railway Group.
