Many enterprises’ production lines in operation during Spring Festival holiday
According to reports, the output of Hunan Pucheng Dairy Co., Ltd. reached 22,000 tons in 2022 with an output value of 227 million yuan. According to market expectations, the enterprise plans to produce more than 30,000 tons, with the output value to exceed 350 million yuan, and tax revenue to increase significantly.
Most employees only had days off on Chinese New Year’s Eve and the first day of the new year, and basically all employees returned to work on the second day of the new year, and some employees have stuck to their posts during the entire holiday.
“In order to encourage and thank employees for giving up rest to work overtime, we give employees who come to work during the Spring Festival a red envelope every day in addition to the benefits and overtime allowances.” Deputy general manager Yang Jin told reporters that the output value of the enterprise has achieved a growth rate of 35% for two consecutive years, especially since January this year.
The market is increasing than expected. In order to ensure the completion of all orders, the company only adjusted production in the Chinese New Year's Eve and the first day of the first lunar month, and fully resumed production on the second day of the new year. The production capacity has now achieved 60% of that before the holiday, and more than 150 employees are on the job every day.
In 2023, it is expected that the company will continue to maintain the growth at more than 35% and achieve sales revenue of 350 million yuan. Last year, the company passed the acceptance certification of the Chinese high-quality milk project. This year, the company plans to add three new production lines to create high-quality products and characteristic yogurt products.

“Especially this Spring Festival, we were particularly busy, for from the 29th day of the twelfth lunar month in 2022 to the second day of the lunar month in 2023, the wholesale and retail sales reached 14 million yuan, an increase of 40% year-on-year.” Si Min, a manager of the company, said that in 2022, the wholesale and retail sales amounted to 1.47 billion yuan, and a new production line will be put into use this year, which is expected to increase the output value of 100 million yuan, with the sales to exceed 1.5 billion yuan. In order to further alleviate the pressure of Meiyijia store sales, the company has developed and launched a "cloud attendance" system, which plans to achieve full coverage within 3 months, when every Meiyijia will be unattended but with the system on duty.
