The National Premier Milk Project is a systematic project on nutritional quality standards for dairy products, led by the Institute of Animal Sciences of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, jointly initiated by the national dairy industry's leading research institutes and universities, Dairy Quality Inspection and Risk Assessment Centers, and dairy enterprises.
There are three main parts: the creation of high-quality milk labeling system, a stable supply of high-quality raw milk production, and the full implementation of standardized supervision of dairy processing technology.

Compared with Europe, the United States and other developed countries in the dairy industry, the National Premier Milk Project requires more stringent standards for production of milk, which needs to go through rigorous testing, data monitoring and evaluation.

"We have officially passed the acceptance test of the National Premier Milk Project, which marks a new period of high-quality development for Hunan Ushi Dairy," said Tang Xia, deputy general manager of Hunan Ushi Dairy.

The reporter saw the transparent closed production workshop clean and tidy, in which there are six automated production lines in operation including the imported Tetra Brick Carton student milk production line, imported PET bottle milk production line, and glass bottle milk production line.  

Hunan Ushi Dairy is a professional dairy enterprise integrating dairy farming, liquid milk research and development, processing and sales in the whole industry chain, and is committed to building a high-quality fresh dairy product supplier in Hunan and Central China.

Its products have been sold in Metro, Wal-Mart, RT-Mart, Carrefour, China Resources Vanguard and Better Life, and occupied a high market share in the canteens of many enterprises, government units, as well as schools in Hunan Province. Over a hundred milk stations have been set up, which provide home delivery service.
