On April 23, the opening ceremony of “Photovoltaic Power Generation EPC General Contract Project of Hunan Lesso Technology Industrial Co., Ltd.” was held at the site of its Phase II project in Ningxiang Economic & Technological Development Zone.

It is a key construction project to promote new energy in Ningxiang City, and also the first cooperation project between China Lesso Group and China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau in the photovoltaic industry.
Zhu Juntao, general manager of Hunan Lesso Technology Industrial Co., Ltd. said, “We will build the project into a landmark project and a model project in Hunan photovoltaic industry.”

Lv Xiangbing, assistant general manager of the Municipal Engineering Branch of the 3rd Construction Co., Ltd. of China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau introduced that the photovoltaic project is the main force to achieve carbon neutrality goals. The 3rd Construction Co., Ltd. of China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau will make the photovoltaic power generation project better and stronger to achieve win-win cooperation with Lesso.

The photovoltaic power generation project of Lesso, located at the intersection of Yongjia East Road and Fazhan Road, is constructed by Hunan Lesso Technology Industrial Company and contracted by the 3rd Construction Company under China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau.

The project covers a construction area of 110,000 square meters with a planned investment of 880 million yuan, an installation capacity of 12 MW (megawatts) and a construction period of 120 days. It is expected to be put into operation in October 2022.

The project aims to provide electricity generated by photovoltaic power for industrial production. And it adopts the mode of “spontaneous generation and self-use, surplus electricity to the grid”, in order to utilize renewable energy and realize the concept of environmental protection.
