In Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (NETDZ), some projects are about to be completed, injecting powerful impetus into the construction of “Five Good Park” and high-quality economic development.
At the construction site of Gree refrigerator and washing machine project, the main structure of the project has been completed, and workers are busy with interior decoration and equipment installation.

As one of the five kinds of ten key projects in Changsha City, the construction of Gree refrigerator and washing machine project won strong supports. “Gree Electric has planned its project in six phases in NETDZ. The total area of the project exceeds 166.7 hectares and the total investment is over 10 billion yuan,” said an official of Changsha Gree.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement signed between Gree Electric and Hunan Provincial Government, Gree will increase more investment in the future to build Changsha Gree Base into the world’s most advanced comprehensive intelligent manufacturing base with a revenue of more than 50 billion yuan and an output value of more than 30 billion yuan, and become the second R&D and production base to Zhuhai Headquarters.
With the total investment of 5.2 billion yuan, the project covers an area of 64.07 hectares, and the annual production capacity is expected to be 4.5 million refrigerators and washing machines, including 2 million medium and high-grade refrigerators and 2.5 million washing machines. The annual output value is expected to reach 10 billion yuan.

It will become the most intelligent lighthouse factory under Gree. The planned land for the Phase I project of the refrigerator production line is 36 hectares, with a total construction area of 280,000 square meters. The project leader said that the project will be put into trial production in December this year.

Like Gree, the Phase IV project of Truking Technology Headquarters in the park also received much attention. The construction of the project was started on April 28, 2020. The central workshop is the largest single one, with a construction area of more than 40,000 square meters, which has been put into production recently.  

The intelligent post-packaging workshop is the first workshop put into operation in the Phase IV project of Truking Technology Headquarters, with a construction area of nearly 14,000 square meters. It mainly produces high-end post-packaging equipment for Truking.  

“In just eight months, the intelligent post-packaging workshop was put into operation, which is built to help fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The company’s post-packaging equipment has contributed much to the mass production of vaccines, and gained high appreciation from governments and Covid-19 vaccine manufacturers. The operation of the central workshop will further improve the delivery capacity of Covid-19 vaccine equipment,” said Zhou Feiyue, vice president of Truking.

After several months of construction, the Phase II project of Hunan Lesso Technology Industry Co., Ltd. located in NETDZ is about to be completed. It will become the largest PVC production base in Hunan.  

The project leader said that the project was started in July this year, and all main structures of buildings are expected to be completed before November 30 and the workshop will be delivered before December 31.

China Lesso Group is a large industrial group of home furnishings and building materials in China. It has been listed among China’s Top 500 Brand Values for many years, and its production, sales and service network covers the whole country. The products are widely used in national super projects like Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Beijing Daxing International Airport and Xiong’an New Area.  

Ling Weixing, executive vice chairman of Hunan Lesso, said that in order to meet the market demands, the group increased investment to expand the Phase II project with 500 million yuan, and the total construction area is 58,000 square meters.  

After completion, the production capacity will be increased by 50,000 tons, which makes the company’s annual production capacity reach 180,000 tons and sales of nearly 2 billion yuan, enabling Hunan Lesso to achieve leapfrog development.

In Jinyu Industrial Park located in the NETDZ, Hunan No.6 Engineering Industrial Park and Hunan Dessn, with a total investment of 600 million yuan, are under decoration. Hunan Dessn will become the largest production base of building steel structure in Hunan Province.

The NETDZ planned 66 key industrial projects this year, with the total investment of 52.045 billion yuan and the annual planned investment of 17.59 billion yuan.
