A ceremony about the construction of major projects was held in Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone on June 25. There are 50 projects in Ningxiang City, with a total investment of 15.72 billion yuan. Among them, 19 major projects were launched, with an investment of 4.73 billion yuan and 31 major projects were completed, with an investment of 10.99 billion yuan.

These projects involve such fields as industrial development, people's livelihood, infrastructure, and environmental protection. There are some leading and promising projects such as Pangeo production base with an annual output of 8 million sets of automobile aluminum alloy fittings, Gree Electric Appliances large commercial air conditioning and intelligent equipment research and development center, Sany small crane manufacturing, and Sinoboom Heavy Industry Phase II.

There are also infrastructure projects aiming at improving people's well-being like Renfu Avenue, Ningxiang City (Xuefu Road to Jinlong Road). The commencement and completion of these projects will promote industrial upgrading, improve urban quality and add momentum to the high-quality development of Ningxiang City.

“The superior business environment of Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone attracts our company to settle here,” said Tong Chenggang, the executive of Pangeo (Hunan) Casting Industry Co., Ltd. The Pangeo Production Base with an expected annual output of 8 million sets of automobile aluminum alloy fittings aims at building an intelligent and high-tech aluminum alloy auto parts production base and is planned to cover a land area of 101 mu (6,733,333 square meters), with a total investment of 400 million yuan. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year and be put into production in the first half of next year. It will further enable Pangio to seize the auto parts market and contribute to the development of Changsha’s auto and parts industry.

Since this year, Ningxiang has promoted the "enterprise multiplication" plan, aiming at enhancing the capacity of enterprise development, gathering enterprise multiplication efforts, and expanding competitive industrial clusters. Centered on the "3+N" industrial clusters of advanced equipment, new materials, food and agricultural products processing, a multiplication cultivation database for industrial enterprises has been built. The first batch of 104 selected enterprises are expected to increase output value by 25 billion yuan this year, with a tax revenue of 650 million yuan.

At the same time, based on the guidance, support and service from the local government, some platforms such as Beauty Makeup Valley, Intelligent Home Appliance Accepts Industrial Park, Medical Device Industrial Park, and Construction Machinery Supporting Industrial Park have been launched so as to multiply output value, tax revenue and quantity.

From January to May, the scale industrial added value of the energy storage material industry, the intelligent terminal industry and the equipment manufacturing industry in Ningxiang increased by 134.1%, 40.8% and 23.1% respectively year on year. Among the total of 534 projects planned this year, 105 projects have been started and 56 have been completed.
