Ningxiang National Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as “the economic and technological development zone”) has arranged 52 major industrial projects for 2021, with a total investment of 33.67 billion yuan ($5.23 billion). About 10.8 billion yuan of investment will be realized in 2021.
 
With a total investment of 17.56 billion yuan, 28 new industrial projects are scheduled to be new ones constructed. Their annual investment is expected to reach 6.54 billion yuan in 2021. Meanwhile, 24 industrial projects are under expansion and their total investment is set to be 16.11 billion yuan. They are expected to draw an investment amount of 4.26 billion yuan this year.

Four projects have been added to the list of key provincial projects: the refrigerator and washing machine production base associated with Gree Electric Appliances Inc, phase three of the Hunan CNGR New Energy production base (Central China), phase four of the Truking Technology project and the Valley of Beauty Industry.

The refrigerator and air-conditioner production base associated with Gree Electric Appliances Inc, phase three of the Hunan CNGR New Energy production base (Central China), phase four of the Truking Technology project and the No. 6 Engineering Co Ltd Industrial Park of Hunan Construction Engineering Group have been put on the list of strategic industries programs in Hunan, known as the “Three Hubs and Four New Missions” list.

The refrigerator and washing machine production base associated with Gree Electric Appliances Inc has been added to the list of five “Ten Large” projects in Changsha concerning industrial development, technological innovation, infrastructure facilities, public services and people's livelihoods.

The refrigerator and washing machine production base associated with Gree Electric Appliances Inc and phase four of the Truking Technology project are listed as landmark manufacturing projects in Changsha.

A total of nine projects, including the refrigerator and washing machine production base associated with Gree Electric Appliances Inc, phase three of the Hunan CNGR New Energy production base, phase four of the Truking Technology project, the No. 6 Engineering Co Ltd Industrial Park of Hunan Construction Engineering Group, Sinosteel Machinery Corporation and Banfert production base, have been added to the list of major projects whose progress is personally supervised by officials at the municipal level or equivalent levels.

So far, 11 major projects are under construction, including phase three of the Hunan CNGR New Energy production base, phase one of the Valley of Beauty Industry, the research center associated with Gree Electric Appliances Inc, DESSN (Dingsheng prefabricated building technology company), Baizhuang New Materials and Songjing Scientific Innovation Building.

Gree Intelligent Machinery Industrial Park, Truking Technology Intelligent Medical Equipment Industrial Park and CNGR New Energy (China) Headquarters Industrial Base were rated as outstanding industrial projects in terms of comprehensive assessment in 2020.
