The new materials industry has introduced many high-quality projects: China State Construction, China National Building Material Group, Hunan Sokan New Materials Co, Lesso Group Holdings Limited, Zhongcai Huajian Electronic Commerce Co, Toyo Aluminium K.K, Italy Maccaferri, Changsha Broad Homes Industrial Group Co and more. The industry has focused on the development of new green building materials, new energy materials and high-end metal powder materials, as well as the construction of the Hunan Environmental-friendly Building Materials Industry Demonstration Park.

There are a wide range of enterprises in new material industry in the park, which can be divided into 4 categories, namely green building materials, metal powder and processing, new chemical materials and lithium electric energy storage materials. There are 35 green building material enterprises in Ningxiang, among which 10 are in the park including L&S Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongcai Chemical Building Co., Ltd., Maccaferri (Changsha) Environ-Tech Co.,Ltd., Zhongyan Building Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Yida Suye Co., Ltd., Hunan Shenyu New Material Co., Ltd., Changsha Jianyi New Material Co., Ltd., Changsha Sanyou New Material Co., Ltd., Changsha Biaolang Zhugong Technology Co., Ltd., and Hunan Xiangbo Energy-saving Material Co., Ltd. Besides, and the most representative enterprises are Zhongcai Chemical Building Co., Ltd. and L&S Technology Co., Ltd.

There are 27 metal powder enterprises in Ningxiang and 8 enterprises are in the park, including Hunan Ningxiang Jiweixin Metal Powder Co., Ltd., Changsha Yexing Antimony Co., Ltd., Hunan Hualiu New Materials Co.,Ltd., Hunan Shuntai Tungsten Co.,Ltd., Hunan Maotian Century New Material Co.,Ltd., and Hnegjia New Material Technology Co.,Ltd and etc. However, as these enterprises are characterized by poor overall strength and a low level of intelligent manufacturing, they can’t be regarded as modern and intelligent enterprises to support the development of new material industry in the park.  

There are 26 new chemical material enterprises, among which Hunan Sokan New Materials Co., Ltd., Banfert New Materials Co., Ltd. and Hunan Zixian New Materials Co., Ltd. are located in the park. Besides, the former two are the most representative enterprises.

Hunan Zhongwei Zhengyuan New Materials Co., Ltd. and Hunan Hezong Technology Co., Ltd. are the leading companies in the park that specialize in producing lithium electric energy storage materials. The former one is able to drive the development of the new material industry of the park with its relatively large scale.
