The healthcare products and cosmetics industry is guided by the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Provincial Health Commission, the Provincial Food and Drug Administration and Ningxiang Food and Drug Administration.
 
The zone led the establishment of the Hunan (International) Health Products and Cosmetics Industrial Park with a total investment of 20 billion yuan. The park has a planned land area of 5,000 mu and features international and high-end health services.
 
It will focus on the construction of a beautiful, health park and health service area. It will also build a national demonstration park for healthcare products and the cosmetics industry, integrating raw material supply, formula research and development, achievement transformation, production and processing, enterprise incubation, packaging design and production, packaging material inspection and testing, technical training and e-commerce.
