Changsha Huagu Opera is an intangible cultural heritage of Changsha city, Hunan province.
 
Ningxiang is one of the birthplaces of Changsha Huagu Opera. The Huagu Opera in Ningxiang features strong regional characteristics and is called "Ningxiang Luzi". Famous for its minor tones, delicate handling, rounded words, and clear singing style, it has a long history and far-reaching influence.
 
In 2014, with the approval of the Changsha Municipal People's Government, Changsha Huagu Opera (Ningxiang) was listed in the fourth group of Changsha's municipal intangible cultural heritage.
